I picked up this one in a jar. It has green deposit near the rim. Do you think a little bath in acetone can removed this deposit?

Thanks

Can not hurt. Try boiling first in water. I have has success with acetone and pre-boil. Sometimes a mark left......sometimes not. Nothing to lose. MM

If that is a kind of waxy green spot then acetone will take it off. It if it is hard and crusty the underlying coin is probably corroded.
