It's always fun to find some error when coin roll hunting.
Is this a common error? Since ther wasn't any other errors , I was still happy to see something different

Thanks for guidance and opinion

What are you seeing as an error here? Sorry, not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing.

I was hoping the (WE) in in God we trust was messed up to be called an error,
How the bottom of "W " is in the rim and the "E" touching the W was enough for at least an error . I don't know how import or frivolous....still learning and all opinions help
Thanks Oijogja

Sure thing, Coinindrum. I think what you're seeing is actually the normal design for the year. The W especially is asymmetrical and it's like they modified it to still manage to fit on the curved edge of the coin. Circulation or a later die state would blur the two together a bit.
Here's a link to PCGS's entry for 78-D to compare to some high grade coins. https://www.PCGS.com/coinfacts/coin...8-d-10c/5154
Sorry if I'm still missing the mark here, but figured I'd throw out my opinion since no one had responded yet.
