Is this a large A variety? O-109? The base of A and M appear to be touching but the last A in America seems extra large. Appreciate any help in attribution

I'm not an expert.

I'm thinking O-108 so far but need to look more closely. Both 108 and 109 share Obverse 6. The T/I alignment on the reverse of the O-108 looks to be more like yours. The I on the 109 is more to the left than yours.

I agree with cipster that your half dollar is O-108. It checks out with the PCGS images.

The E and D in UNITED are not joined on O-109.
