I'm trying to identify this ingot coin for a friend. These are the only pictures I have. Its supposed to weigh about 4 oz and be cast silver. I didn't see any of this type coin in any of David Hartill's books that I have. Has anyone seen one like this or could anyone point me in the right direction where to look?
I would recommend finding someone who can translate the characters-if nobody here can. there is probably an app for that. They we can compare it to what it purports to be.
It's a HONG KONG Silver AR 2 liang, Or at least that's what it seems to be listed under. I think it is a two tael bar. No idea if it's real or not though. If I am right it should weigh around 75 grams
