Chewed up and small...but old. Can see a person's face and some letters on reverse. Any idea on this coin I found in Germany? Might be spanish?

France, 1st republic. 1 centime, an (year) 6, 7, or 8 (number not visible) according to the revolutionary calendar, meaning 1797-1800. Quite a find, although a bit too worn to have any value
