I have no idea what this coin might be so if anyone has any idea at all then please fire away.
Diameter approx 18mm. weight 0.8g. I assume silver.

I don't know what this coin is, but it could be suffering from internal silver crystallization, and is very delicate and thus could very easily break into two or more pieces.

Make sure that it has good physical protection.

First enclose it in double sheet of clear acetate plastic sheet, before enclosing in a cardboard / Mylar 2x2. When it is identified, write that info on the 2x2.

Acetate sheet can be recovered from food containers. Just make sure that the plastic sheet is properly cleaned.

This is a schilling (solidus) of the Poland-Lithuania Commonwealth, Vilnius mint, dated 1619 . Second photo which is the obverse is upside down and you can see 1 and 9 in the field. Legend on this side is SIG III D.G. REX PO M.D.L. for Sigismund III, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania.

Clipped planchet, offcenter strike and slight curvature are all common ailments for this type.
