1829/7 Capped Bust Half Dollar Grading Help

It has a scratch to the left of the bust on the obverse, but I still thought it was a beautiful coin. I am excited to own my first half of this series. Thanks for the help! numismatic student Bedrock of the Community United States 11954 Posts	Posted 02/19/2020 7:41 pm The coin grades G6. It is pretty cool that your first bust half happens to be an overdate. This is the 1829/7 overdate. The ovedate can be easily seen by enlarging the last digit of the date. Congrats on your new bust half acquisition. Report this Post to the Staff

As a type coin they can be had in EF-40 at a fairly low price (~$150) making them accessible to most collectors. Report this Post to the Staff
