So I got this 1959 D out of a recent box of rolls that proved to be one in a million already, actually 1 in 484,000 to be more precise.
Cant seem to find a match for this one though, is it a DDR or something else? Any help would be appreciated.

It's not a Doubled Die. It's Machine Doubling. Size of devices have been reduced.

Haha you hit the jackpot with the 1909 S VDB already, finding an undocumented major DDR for a 60 year old penny would *truly* be getting into luck-as-a-superpower status. Just looks like Machine Doubling on this one :)
