Is found this roll hunting Lincoln pennies. Is this coin a regular issue, or is it demonstrating an error or variety of some sorts? Thanks.

It's a 1947 penny that was actually struck in 1948 before the new dies were made that removed the ET IMD IMP.

There is a pointed 7 and blunt 7 variety, with the blunt 7 being worth slightly more...I think yours looks like the pointed 7, but it's hard to tell

There are 3 types,
1947
1947 ML pointed 7
1947 ML blunt 7

Yours I think is the last one.

Of course.
Lucky you live in the US, you can just slip in with your other cents.
In Canada you would have to have four more to go with it and a bank willing to accept them.
It is a cool keeper though.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
