48 are silver dimes a roll of those goes away for 60+, plus album costs like 20 dollars so I think some people will always buy this.

Nowhere in the listing does it say that any of the included Dimes are "uncirculated".

...and minimum $8.50 face value for the other 85 Dimes (some of the earlier clad ones may be worth a lot more than face if they're in a high enough grade), then add the time and effort it would take to assemble this set, and really (IMHO) $97.90 isn't terribly out of line....

If you could do this set entirely with BU Dimes , you should get a lot more than $97.90 for it!

Silver Content = $33
Clad face value = $9
New Album = $18
--------------------
Total = $60 before any numismatic value has been added in

The images in the auction aren't that great, but it's pretty clear that around 1960 the quality of the coins jumps up a little bit. I would suspect that from there on out you're looking at AUish coins.

So is there $35 worth of numismatic value in there. I'm going to go with probably not. I wouldn't have spent that much on it without better images.
