What would any of you put this at. My thoughts is MS 63 possibly 64. Is it worth PCGS grading fees ?

Its a common date Morgan, even at MS63 its listed at $70 in Red Book, and I doubt you would get that much for it, why do you think its worth slabbing? What about this coin makes it to look like it should be slabbed? I'm trying to understand, what you see in it, because I don't see it being worth.

Just as an example, someone slabbed this, I got it for $51. Was it worth to get slabbed? to me yes as I didn't pay the slabbing fee, but to the person that slabbed it, I doubt he/she got the money back.

Right now it looks like it might have been cleaned.
We need something that looks as close to the real coin as possible.

I don't think it's worth it to get it slabbed.

I don't necessarily think it's worth it. Bought it raw for $30 & pretty sure I can sell it raw for a small profit. PCGS plastic would be about $ 30 & if it is a 63 its is for sure not worth it. I will try for better pics but will probably sell as is. As far as cleaning - I don't believe so but is of course possible. In hand it looks OK. Thanks to all !! Stay safe.

I don't think it would merit slabbing unless you can get it in with a bulk rate deal through ANACS, PCGS or NGC.

Still a lovely Morgan. Put it in a Dansco and enjoy it.

I saw that. The 1887 and 1897 are close on price. I was just stating that what Red Book has and actual sale price can be lower.

You can find a better example than that in my opinion.
