I noticed the mint mark is extra thick, can be seen with the eye. The doubling is in the I, B, E, and a little of the R at the top/top right. of the word LIBERTY. Weighed it and came out to 2.5g. Making it a brass penny. I can be wrong, although I have good evidence to back my claim up. Been doing this for about 8 years now, and this is my first Doubled Die that I have found. It was exciting. Next , let me see if I can upload some good pics.

to CCF. 2.5 grams means it is a zinc core with copper plating. Not seeing a doubled die. The mint mark looks interesting but not sure it is a RPM. Here are link for you to make a match http://coppercoins.com/diesearch.php

Copper plated Zinc cent. The anomalies over the top of LIBERTY appear to be plating issues.

The MM does look interesting, but I'm pretty sure it isn't an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) as stated in the title.

It might be an RPM though. check the link John provided and let us know.

And the 83 looks suspiciously like 87.

Please orient photos for us to see them normally. I agree with others above, this is a regular zinc core cent. I don't see a doubled-die either. Wrong photo (87) or wrong title (83)?

to the CCF!
