Britguyaz New Member United Kingdom 2 Posts	Posted 07/10/2020 08:41 am Hi Everyone, New member, Martin, in the SW of the UK. Been a numismatic for years and have lived for many years in the USA. If anyone can give me a clue on this coin pictured, I would appreciate it. It is in poor condition but I suspect it may be very old. Any ideas? Report this Post to the Staff

If you can post a pic of the other side, we can help narrow down what you have. At that point, I might move your thread over to the ancients subforum so that we can get some expert opinions. On Numista I filtered "K" under Byzantine coins and there are several that are very similar. Here are a couple of picture of the other side but not sure they will help much as it is in very poor condition. I have always been advised never to clean a coin in case I damage it, but I wonder what may be visible if cleaned. Report this Post to the Staff
