Is this a huge die scratch? Is it rare or worth more than face value?

If that line is raised above the fields behind, that's a die crack. Too common to be worth lots, maybe 50 cents? If I'd found it, I'd keep it.

I'm not sure that it is a die crack as they aren't usually rim-to-rim so straight. It looks more like a cut in the surface from something sharp (similar to the double cut going across the first few letters of UNITED. Sometimes the blade can "smush" metal up on the sides of the groove as it is cutting.

My first thought was PMD, in which case no premium I'm afraid.
