I got the PCGS standard label. There running a quarterly special pay for 4 coins get 1 free. I also got the gold shield. |

At this stage if you're buying '21 Morgans and Peace dollars in OGP is there any justifiable concern that you might be buying the equivalent of "searched rolls" where someone has either carefully examined the coin enough to form an opinion that it wouldn't grade at a 70 or even possibly that they sent in the coins to get graded, cracked out the ones of the slabs that were 69s and below and put them back in the OGP? |

a valid concern, t25135, but not everyone sends them in.

Yeah for sure and from looking at the population reports on PCGS and NGC that's definitely the case. I guess at some point perhaps we start seeing premiums for unopened boxes from the mint with these coins in them (relative to just ones in the OGP) if that doesn't already exist. |
