A smaller release but a number of high value items:

$100 - RCMP Musical Ride Figurine on coin base - 10oz Silver Gold Plated Figure on Horseback Mintage 1,000 $1,149.95

5c - Gold Victory Nickel 2020 Dated KGV Obverse - 1oz Gold Mintage 400 - $3899.95
$20 - Rectangular GITD Clarenville UFO event - 1oz Silver - Mintage 5,000 - $129.95
$1 - Peace dollar (Ultra High Relief) - 1 oz Silver - Mintage - 5,000 - $129.95
$1 - Peace dollar (Ultra High Relief) - 1 oz Gold - Mintage - 500 - $4,099.95
Set - Fractional Gold Klondike Gold Rush containing Gold Nugget Privy - 4 coins - Mintage 500 - $5,999.95
Set - 2020 Holiday Gift Card Set - Circulated with Snowman $1 - Mintage 100,000 - $21.95

Prior Subscriptions
$15 - Year of Ox - Scalloped Edge - 27.6g Silver - Mintage 15,888 - $98.88
$15 - Year of Ox - Serrated Edge - 31.39g Silver - Mintage 15,888 - $98.88
$5 - Moments to Hold Series - Coloured Remembrance Day Poppies on V (Card) - 1/4oz Silver - Mintage 100,000 - $24.95
$10 - Oh Canada Series - Changing of the Guard - 1/2oz Silver - Mintage 10,000 - $49.95

I am in on the Peace dollar in Silver even though the Reverse is the same as last year... The gold looks stunning but a bit rich for my blood as the rise in the price of gold has lifted this item from $2,899.95 last year to $4,099.99.

<edit for typo.

A rather big jump in 1 oz gold RCM coins in two months.

For August release the Bill Reid Gold coin was $3199 and gold Rhodium Maple Leaf was $3299.

Who in the right mind would pay $4100.00 for 1 oz of gold.

If you have the 2020 Pure Silver Coin - Peace dollar, why would you buy the same 2021 coin again?

If, like me, you have a collection of 36mm Silver Dollars to maintain and your OCD won't allow you to miss one.

Why do folks have date sets of anything?

@vonigohcr: Thanks for the post!

I'm debating with myself re: the 2021 Peace dollar. I also have a complete set of Canada's 36 mm SDs that I am driven to maintain, but I'm not enamored with a repeat design.

One of the things I've enjoyed about the RCM's modern commemorative SD series is the fact that each year brings new designs -- the series hasn't repeated itself.

The design repeat makes me pause to consider, but I'm not sure it will make me pass on the coin.

Like Steven Bromberg and other dealers

I as well have a complete set of Canada's 36 mm SDs. This coin does not compare with the originals as there are many variations. IMO

Not strictly true... 1972, 2003 & 2010 all had voyageur dollars and 2001 and 2011 saw versions of the unreleased 1911 dollar. That is splitting a hair though as with the exception of the 1972 these were supposedly "commemorations" of the dollars in past years. You are correct that the Peace dollar is the first time that this NCLT proof has repeated without variation except for the date much like a circulating coin... In fact, I can't recall another NCLT proof coin that has repeated without change from one year to another outside of the annual circulation proofs. Even the birthstone series change it up from year to year.

While the 1972, 2003 (both versions) and 2010 SDs do share a similar Voyageur reverse design, they each feature a different portrait of the monarch on the obverse.

The reverse designs on the 2001 and 2011 SDs are very similar but they each present the denomination differently - the 2001 is truer to the original. Of course, they each have a different monarch's portrait on the obverse.

These differences are enough for me to consider them different.

As you stated, however, this is the first time the RCM has issued a NCLT SD in different years with the same design except for the date.

The new coins have been added on the Mint website.

As was predicted, the silver Peace Dollar doesn't appear as available, but it neither marked as Sold out, means there is possibility, that it will be available for purchase again.

Another "highly loadable" and spoken everywhere coin - the UFO-coin is still available for issue price. This is opportunity to grab some for the collection and family.

Pure Silver Coin - Remembrance Day - flower shaped
It not really a coin, but crafter well. Still available.

10 oz. Pure Silver Gold-Plated Sculpture Coin - The RCMP Musical Ride
This highly innovative RCM item has been soldout probably faster than 2013 Venetian Glass Butterfly.

The Silver Peace dollar was listed as sold out shortly after it was offered to MC Members last week. The RCM then restocked it on Monday and it was in stock all day until Monday evening where it became "awaiting stock".

The UFO coin, on the other hand, never went out of stock the entire week it was available to MC members. Interest in UFO coins seem to be waning.

The RCMP Sculpture Coin is only sold out at the RCM. Other dealers including Gatewest, CC&C, and TSC have it in stock.

At the moment the Peace dollars are sold out at dealers except for Gatewest.

@New1954

Thanks. I bought them all plus 2 others last night after 1:00 am and got just about $50.00 cash back and free shipping. :). This is where I'm buying the new releases to get cash back and save. Also has easy pays. I only will buy from the RCM if I feel that the coin is either hot or if it won't be available on TSC. But most coins end up on TSC.

Great score!
On the day of the release I usually also stay late just to see what will be available.

My thought is that this might be Canada's version of the U.S. ASE dollars, and they'll make one every year for the next 30 years or so.

Saw the Peace dollar on the RCM site yesterday afternoon and am sad that it's already gone. Now I have the choice of buying it second-hand now at a higher price, or wait 5+ years or so to get it at a more reasonable price. Anyway, for now I'll label and put an empty 2x2 in my SD binder for it.
