Hi all,

Got this about USD30. What is the likely grade for the coin be?

Best Regards

After looking at quite a few slabbed examples on eBay, I am guessing XF, but AU Details is also possible (I see a lot of variability in the grades I see out there on this type).
Your coin appears to have less wear than this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1873-BELGI...AOSw-INbZ7rY

Here is an AU Details: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1876-Belgi...AOSwM0Vd-Q6x

Attractive coin, good price.

Agreed with tdziemia, the above is an AU details example (obverse with an old improper cleaning which has toned back over). I actually collect pre-Euro Belgian coinage as one of my areas of 'specialization,' and all coins in my collection are NGC certified, so I have handled quite a few of these both raw and slabbed. 1873 is a high mintage date, but $30 was still a good price for an example with good eye-appeal. Check the edge for the inverted stars variety - could make a good find even sweeter ;)
