Hi! I found an old Loonie my grandpa gave to me when I was a kid and at first I thought there was a pen/pencil mark. However, closer look and it appears to be stamping error possibly as it is on both sides and the Indention crosses from the duck's body into the trees. It is on Elizabeth's neck on reverse side as well. Thoughts? Thank you!!

Since the mark goes through the design, it's PMD and not a strike through. You can't have a striking or stamping eror if it goes through the design, because the design is recessed on the die.
Thank u you to those of you who responded respectfully! I am clearly a coin novice and lack "expert" knowledge; hence, why I came to this site looking for more information. And yes sorry the "loon's body" even tho it looks pretty similar to a duck if you ask me, not like I called it an elephant I'm glad I made your daily laugh tho...
