If you look at first picture you can see it more if you look at the trees because it's more clearly indented through them

Since the mark goes through the design, it's PMD and not a strike through. You can't have a striking or stamping eror if it goes through the design, because the design is recessed on the die. |

Thank u you to those of you who responded respectfully! I am clearly a coin novice and lack "expert" knowledge; hence, why I came to this site looking for more information. And yes sorry the "loon's body" even tho it looks pretty similar to a duck if you ask me, not like I called it an elephant I'm glad I made your daily laugh tho...
