Amazing how a coin can retain a cameo finish over as many years. One could only wonder how it was stored and where before the advent of modern preservation. Spectacular example!
Don't be duped by the size of the photo and its quality. Those coins are the size of a dime and the PCGS photo system produces (IMHO) optimistic results. A coin graded 66 has flaws that we can't see by the 'true view' that the graders found objectionable. Cameo contrast is a result of the die prep process ; 'modern conservation' (dipping) can accentuate or damage that.
