Hi, I came across the Wheat penny in the desk drawer. Someone has sealed it in a packet and rated it Uncirculated. Looking at it though on the back it reads United State of Rica with the AME barely visible while the other letters are strong and very visible. Is it possible the penny has been circulated and had a lot of handling where the AME is or could this be a die strike error?
to CCF. Looks like it is in a Littleton coin company baggy and that does not add any value to the coin. You can safely remove it and put it in a 2x2. Just a note; Littleton over charges. John1
