Spell correct got you there. Do you mean 'scary' 'scarce' 'scar' or 'scare'? Probably scar?

There's not a whole lot to go on with this pictures. Closer, clearer shots are needed.
Based on what I see, I'd fathom a guess that the "scar" you're seeing could be a nice die gouge since it appears to be raised.

My bets on a scratch - it's heavier on the bust and lighter as it comes off it and goes to the rim. But yeah, better picture is needed
