Nice find. Looks like it suffers from a bit of environmental corrosion.
Describe it as if there were no picture. Picture it as if there were no description.

Very nice find . 1909 IHC is a better date of 1900-1909 IHC's .

That's not surprising lol considering I found it in a bag of circulated wheat pennies I figured it would have taken some dings and probably had plenty of time to start corroding. I'm honestly shocked that it looks as good as it does! It's the only indian head I have that still has pretty much all the reeding along the rim.

Probably a details coin, but looks like VF-20 or so sharpness.

Nice one! Always exciting to find an IHC looking through old cents. Definitely a better date, and the last year of Miss Liberty.

Does anybody suppose this coin is worth sending in for grading/slabbing?

No , that coin is not worthy to send in for grading . 2x2 holder it yourself .

Not a grading candidate - probable value as a details coin, less than fifty cents.

Awesome, thanks for the input! I'm not so much concerned about its dollar value as I am for its preservation. I plan to put most of my collection away for my kids to do what they want with when I pass, so I figured it was worth asking if I should have it slabbed/graded.
