I found this 1982 penny which I assume is from the Philadelphia Mint since there's no mint mark. My pictures don't show how clean it really is because of the lighting, but it has little to no scratches. Should I have it graded, or is 1982 too modern of a coin to be worth much? Thanks for your help.

to CCF. Pic did not show. It needs to have a retail value of at least $150 slabbed to justify all costs involved in sending it in.

Plus it all depends on which 1982 you have there are 7 plus the S to make 8 and it would have to be in extra mint shape.

Thank you. For future reference, how much better shape does it need to be in to be worth grading? I did weigh it and it does weigh 3 grams.

Let's put it this way - even in MS-67RD it isn't worth the cost of grading at a major TPG.
