The Cheras of Kongu clan from Karur, depicting bow and arrow (1200-1400s).
The Chola gold (1014-1044) denotes Rajendra Chola's subjugation of Cheras (bow behind tiger), and Pandyas (twin fishes).
The Pandyan coin (1200s) depict a seated king with fish and a scepter, after becoming independent form the Cholas.
