Seens like Aethelred II.

The only ones I've seen similar were of Cnut, Eadbehrt and Aethelred ii but it says '+ WVLF MON SIHTVN' on the reverse which indicates a place called Sigtuna in Sweden (not that it is actually a Swedish coin - it's complicated ).

Oh, and just to add complication - that reverse was reused for the Henry I Type XII.

50/50 of a CNUT helmet penny and your coin.
That one is around 18mm diameter.



The dots on the helmet are close to the ones on yours and some of the detail left side matches the CNUT one in the high spots.
