I see several 12th-13th Century silver coins with a bishop and crozier on one side and a few other coins with a short cross with a pellet in each quarter, but none with both of these features. I wish that I could pick up at least a couple letters in the inscription. tdziemia Pillar of the Community United States 7934 Posts	Posted 04/18/2021 09:16 am So, a bishop's coinage from the obverse, maybe 11th - 12th c from the reverse? For Netherlands, it seems Utrecht would be the best option, but I cannot find a match there. There are some reverses from Bernoldus which are close, but I don;t see an obverse with him wearing this type of mitre.
