1970 S "floating Roof"?

I understand that the floating roof error is relatively common and of little interest, but it was my first find and it made me quite happy. It is just a result of an over polished die but not a mint error. The 1969 and 1970's had a lot of floating roofs and both also had a lot of NO FG's (the designer's initials) with the 69' having more No FG's in my findings. Still a nice find but they are very common as already mentioned. PCGS actually lists the 1969 NO FG as a variety, not an error. The last time I checked, higher Mint State (MS) examples of the 1969 No FG do carry a premium based on their website info. Edited by Scuba1 05/08/2021 12:38 am Report this Post to the Staff
