I have two local coin shops. One guy I like. One guy I don't. If they had the same coin for the same price I would buy from the guy honest guy who treats me right. In fact I would probably pay up to 5% more there, but he's usually cheaper any way. I try and visit at least once a quarter and spend some money. I would definitely say support your local guy. Plus they usually reward you with better prices and freindlier service if you are a frequent customer.

I tried being loyal to the local dealer until I found that I was taken advantage. I called him on it and showed him comparable prices. He didn't budge, I guess he was trying to get someone else to bite. I try and spread the wealth and be cost conscience and direct about it.
