My set looks perfect. My opinion, take the gamble and send it in and see if you get 70.
It's very minor and I don't think it's gonna be a big deal at 8x mag or less. Maybe you get a 69 But that's a break even. Worth the shot if you ask me.

My Camera setup is a eFlex 75x/300x Digital Microscope with Flexible Neck. As far as sending the set in for grading, I think I'm going to keep them in original packaging due to the possibility of not getting a PF70. You can see the milky spot with the naked eye. In my opinion, if it gets any grade lower, its not worth it. Still, I'd like to hear if you guys would send in for grading anyway. I use NGC

I sent my set in but only looked at it with the naked eye. Had I noticed anything then I would not have.

I've never sent in any coins for grading. Would it be "better" to send in all the cool Mint-official coins I managed to get this year all at once? Or is that an expense that really is worth it if I want to flip the coins to someone else?

It can greatly enhance the value of a coin, but it is expensive to do. My PR70 RP set ran alost $110 for grading, shipping, & handling.

It's a gamble sending them in. Score a 70 and you win, anything lower and your lucky to break even.

There's definitely a savings on processing and shipping fees if you send in a bunch at a time. Still a costly endeavor, but certainly do one order as opposed to multiple.

wow sorry to see that. My set looks good though I have not really spent much time looking at it.

I got my set a few months ago. They look just fine to me. I'll eventually get it graded. I have every Proof ASE the Mint released so far. My goal is to have all of them graded and have them as a set. I'm not too worried about the grade I'll get, but I'm sure that they will grade very high.

I sent in with the naked eye and didn't see issues. I think they base it off a magnification of 5x IIRC.
It is a gamble. It cost me about $125 to have graded including what I paid to have it shipped there. That said, I'm into it for about $300 including what I paid the mint to now something worth around $600. When I first started sending coins, I wasn't as good differentiating between the 69s and 70s, but I've gotten better so my hit rate is much higher this year (only had the 2 1/2 oz gold eagles come back 69 which I still disagree with).
