Hi all,

Can anyone help ID this cash coin. The reverse indicates Nanjing mint . I found a similar Numista entry but one of the 4 characters on the obverse is different.
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces174152.html

Diameter - 26.6mm
Weight - 4.28g

Thanks

Well, there are two of the characters that are different; the two characters (top and bottom) that indicate the reign-name of the emperor.

Your coin is from the Kang Xi emperor (1661-1722). As he reigned for a long time and China was wealthy and prosperous at the time, his coins are still quite common, despite their age.
