1984 D Washington Quarter - Misaligned Die/ Date On Rim

First time I have seen the date on the rim and I wanted properly identify why. Was this caused by a misaligned die?

Well all the 1982 quarters had the dates/devices on the rims.:
1984-D-Washington-Quarter---Misaligned-Die/-Date-On-Rim
Fixed the issue in 1983. But seems that Both dies are showing a lot of wear on the 1984 quarter.

Your coin maybe a MAD coin then. But not off center enough to have a premium for it. (Devices have to fall over the edge more to qualify for these)
