I found this sweet gem a few years ago. It is a 2017 $1 star note I 00214940*. It appears to possibly have some sort of very slight bending/maybe fold in the middle. It still has a very crisp, fresh feel to the paper note.. In addition to the serial number starting with I 002...it also has a very minor misalignment and possibly some random areas of ink smearing? According to my "go to" reference page for starnotes/serial number information, mycurrencycollection.com, this particular star note only has 250,000 in the run size! Right below, I included the link for the website with information regarding my 2017 $1 star note according to the serial number.

Sooooooo, what do yall think ? I've never ran across a starnote with such a small run size before! Thanks!!!

. I think it is a nice find and should be put in a Mylar sleeve.

Cool circulation find. When reports first appeared from the BEP that a $1 Minneapolis star note run had been printed in April 2018, star note collectors were paying strong prices for uncirculated examples. Once the collector base was satisfied, prices started to relax. Now, you can buy a gently circulated example for under $10. Nice find though. Follow John's advice and get it into a quality currency sleeve.

Yes, I do remember when star notes were widely searched and wanted by big money collectors. That's ok, I'll keep it for my own and wait until the revolution rises again!! It will just be worth more years later anyway!
