Not sure if it would get the full steps designation but I know it's not easy to come by, I have one more but there's a gash in the middle of the stairs,unfortunately it come to me that way,hopefully it can be seen in the images, is this the rare D/S, I appreciate any and all input

Can't be a D/S as no Jefferson nickels were struck with the "S" mint mark from 1956 through 1967.

with both of the above, no such thing as a D/S for this date; the only omm's known are 1949-D/S, 1954-S/D, and 1955-D/S. It is much more likely a D/D rpm...
