Sorry if I missed an earlier discussion on this but does anyone know why the MS70 2021 Morgan D's are selling for so much on eBay relative to all other MS70s? I'm seeing sales from $500-1000 for one coin.

The population of MS70 examples from the Denver mint are relatively low compared to the other issues. The percentage of MS70 Denver mint issues is only about 60 percent of the graded examples compared to 75 to 85 percent for the other issues. I believe this is a contributing factor.

I put my 2021 D in my Morgan date set for the Denver mint mark.

I sent two "D"s in for grading. One came back MS-69 and the other one MS-70, so I'm happy.

Ok, I've sent in my 3 D's for grading. Now for the unbearably long wait until I get them back from PCGS (via my local coin store that sends them in for me) and I find out if I've been good this year or if there is just a lump of coal in my stocking. |

Wow, all 70s! I have only gotten back the 8 cc's that I sent in and it was a 50/50 split between 69s and 70s. |

Ya, I got lucky on the Morgan's, but I got 2 Peace dollars and they both graded at 69 (I was hoping for at lease t to be a 70...  ) |
