Interesting folder, looks like it would cost as much as the coins.

One thing I've noticed about this site is that hardly any Australian members are interested in NCLT. Shame because there are some really nice designs and themes. Much more interesting than those Woolworths and AusPost coins some people get excited about.

Think you could purchase 1 of 10,000 of these sets of 10 coins in the folder for $175.00 when released in 2017.

You will not get any change from $3,000 for the Mars coin alone now.

The whole set is selling for around $4,000 on ebay ATM.

I look in the Rennicks and it says the coins are all 10,000 mintage.
Why is Mars considered rare?
What aren't the catalogues telling me?

On ebay anything but Mars is a few hundred tops, Mars $3k.

Nice set but ridiculous price for a 10,000 mintage.

Last 2 full sets sold for $6k a piece.

The Mars coin is not considered rare .
Surely it must be made gold....? NO

The hype is all about it being a $2 coin.
That is all.
As an Uncirculated set, a big percentage of these coins that have been put up for grading are in the top pop. This is rare for Uncirculated coins ,only the Wedding Set coins grade as high and they really should be graded as SP coins.

A set of graded coins just sold on ebay , not all MS70.
Still around $7,000 a year later.

Very true Oz, but usually NCLT is very expensive. Also, where do you stop? The RAM and Perth Mint just keep churning it out. I made the decision ages ago to try and stay focused on just circulation coins, otherwise I could not afford to keep up. I have strayed occasionally.

The only coins the Perth Mint make are NCLT.
