Struck through crossed my mind but I'm wondering if this coin might be struck on a defective planchet.

It could be a struck through, hard to tell with the lighting, I'm not seeing obvious displaced metal but the colour looks like the zinc core is showing which leads me to think either PMD or possible planchet error. Can you tell if the incuse area has copper plating or does it just look grey ish?

My vote is for strike through. I have seen multiple strike throughs on shield cents that look like this, very cool!

Yeah maybe you right but, I don't watch all videos from everybody, I have 5 people that I trust in then because in all their videos they teach what you need to know about the coins, they don't just make videos to gain views, and they teach how to look for coin error using coppercoins.com, variety webpage, PCGS and others, I know I can learn a lot here, but I learned how to look at some erros thank to them too. Also I found this exact error on ebuy last night, maybe the image is not good enough to tell what's going on with it, so I'm going to take another picture later. Thank you for all your kind opinions and thought, I really appreciated it.

At this point, I'm thinking strike through. Anyone have an obverse/reverse overlay image to illustrate what a die clash could look like on a shield cent?
