Looking for an IHC for my 1900's type set. These are sellers photos, what do you all think?

Great luster, some scattered surface marks, but I'd say a solid MS-64BN. I like the die crack below the wreath.

I'll say MS-62BN. Meaningful marks below T in States, on the cheekbone, and near the second A in America, plus scattered disturbances in the left obverse field. I also think the lighting flatters this coin.

I would be OK at MS-63...maybe MS-64...both BN.

i have it at MS63BN. mostly due to the obv strike and field blotchiness on both sides Quote:Looking for an IHC for my 1900's type set. all depends on what your objective is with your type set. just filling a hole with a decent type coin or purchase the best example that you can afford. when I was collecting for my type set I wanted the later so this one would not make the grade. I would want at least an MS64RB coin for this type

I have plans to do a nicer 7070 down later on, after I complete my Morgan date set

If you are putting it in an album, a BN coin is a better choice because that's what will happen over time to a RD coin that is housed in that album.
