funny! My Mother just turned 80 at the beginning of this month And with my birthday (turning 60) we decided to meet in the middle of the month and have a dual 60/80 party. After counting how many candles we would have needed, we decided on only 1 big candle instead.

Yeah, my family starting going with big candles since about my 40th birthday. To much work to light, and way too much effort to try and blow out all those individual candles!
My Mom and I also celebrate our "milestone" birthdays at similar times as she turned 20 about 5 weeks after I was born.
