From the Obv VF-30 with lots of dings. Wear in the hair for the 30, not enough gone for a 20.

Definitely looks blue, and a ton of dings although those may be accentuated by the lighting used for the photos. Otherwise looks EF, could you try again with the pics?

Okay, I clearly don't understand how to grade the post 1937 5c. I was at F15....could someone expand on why they put this at VF/EF?

Pretty beat-up, but I can see VF-30 (Sheldon) sharpness here.

Whose grading standards? US - Then low VF. Canadian - Fine.
Describe it as if there were no picture. Picture it as if there were no description.

There is still lots of lustre preserved around the legends on both sides. The top of the King's ear is sharp, with hair detail. The rim actually looks really sharp. This series is often weakly struck, so I am closer to EF on this.

Despite the excessive dings there is very little obvious wear. I stand by EF (details).

Thanks all, I just found 6 in a roll and think that was the best one.
