That's a tricky one. Some excellent detail but the surfaces are very odd. What is the darks blotchy stuff? Looks as though it's been covered in something and had most but not all of it cleaned off. Photos 5 and 6 make the surfaces look sort of pitted as if there's environmental damage. Is that the case?

Definitely high AU, maybe MS. Could you take another shot or two without all the magnification to give a better sense?

It looks like that coin has already been dipped, and not very well.
If those grey and black areas are already recessed into the coin, then it's pretty much damaged and ungradable. A lot of 1912 dimes have a pitting problem.
Acetone is not the same as a "dip". Chances are that the black stains are not coming off well with acetone, nor a dip. If it does, the areas underneath may be heavily pitted. With another dip, it needs to be rubbed with a finger while still wet (no water) to get any off, and the colour may turn toward a dull grey the longer it takes (that means anything more than about 10-15 seconds). Tough choice for a nice coin hiding underneath (if not pitted).
