Can you guys tell me what an 1879 CC Morgan dollar graded AU might be worth?Not really sure about the grade but that is what my Dad had it graded for.

Dano, we really need to see pics of this coin before making evaluations. In the meantime, you could peruse eBay sold listings and look for what similar coins sold for.

Without photos of the actual coin we would only be giving you speculative information.

An original surfaces rainbow toned AU example would be worth many multiples of a harshly cleaned AU example.

Would enjoy a couple pics of your CC. If you have a local coin shop in your area, you could see if they have any '79 CC's to get an approximate estimate of how much one could retail for.
