1936 Dot Penny? Photo And Video Comparison

There are only 3 known 36 dots and they are all Specimen strikes.
Also your dot is slightly too far to the right..

Thanks for the feedback. Jimmy D - I wonder if the owner of the third dot penny found was told "there are only 2 in existence so not likely you have one"! Please don't take that as a sarcastic comeback - I just like to always keep an open mind. Especially in the Coin World. As for the position of the dot, I did take that photo at an angle to get better lighting and visibility, so the dot orientation may not look exact. I am including now a new photo taken directly above, with a real dot penny above to compare. Pretty darn close I think.

In the last 10 years there have been maybe 25 "I found one" threads that are just die chips, not "dots". You will not find one in the wild. As Oldmike says, they were stamped at one moment in time to a specific collector, so none in the wild.
