Like many of us here, I have found my share of Doubled Dies but I don't often find them in mint state condition. Even though it is a lesser DD [1DO-003/WDDO-003], which shows strong extra thickness in Liberty and the Date, I thought I'd share it with you because of it's beauty. Please enjoy!
This is a very nice and reasonably common DDO. I like to suggest that folks use them to fill that awkward 1955 Doubled Die hole in the old Whitman albums since it is a perfectly nice doubled die from that year.
