Hi all,
There seem to be many different finishes in my Sacagewea dollar collection, and I can't seem to find a good article to help me distinguish the differences between the finishes. Some are mat and others shiny. Any help would be highly welcomed!
Thanks

Goodacre dollars will be encapsulated. All 5K were eventually encapsulated by ICG, many have since been graded by NGC and PCGS. It's highly unlikely any would be found in the wild.

Interesting topic about Glenna Goodacre designs. I'd never heard of those, and I especially like the Terra Cotta coins!

Terra Cotta coins? Interesting! I looked them up since I too had never heard of them Tacc. Saw a Sac design but didn't find much information yet. Will look into those when I have more time.
Thanks for the post!

The terracotta coin design is the original sculpture she did for the US Mint Design of the Sacagewea $1 obverse.
There's a total of 2000 signed and numbered terracotta "sculptures" out there. Not much info available otherwise.
Like price for one?
