1947-S Die Crack Error?

I am new to collecting and found this while penny-role hunting. Is it an error or the result of wear and tear over time?

Images posted are a little difficult to assess, but I's say that's a lamination issue, not a die crack.

Definitely not a die crack. Photos are difficult to see detail - I'm leaning towards damaged in circulation.
