Please tell me your thoughts on this one. I wonder if the wide appeal of Mt Rushmore adds much to the demand for it?

Artificially and unofficially blackened in a shed job.
It is possible to easily reproduce the color exactly, as we see in this picture.

As an experiment, heat any copper nickel coin to red heat, and drop into water.

I have tendered such coins to check out chicks at the supermarket.
You get a varied reaction with a bit of head scratching, but mostly, they are refused.
