I know it's been a while, but, I found the same penny 2005 D mint with a finger print that can't be removed.

That is the reason collectable coins should be handled carefully, acids from the skin can etch the fingerprint into the coin making it permanent.

How does a complete newcomer find a 5-year old zombie thread to respond to? Did you read everything in the last 5-years to come across this?
