Hello CC fam, from the great state of Nebraska. Never would have imagined I'd have gotten into coins at 26 years old but here we are. So I have recently got into numismatics around a year ago after my grandfather passed away. I had lived 23 years completely unknowing he was a collector. He left behind a pretty good collection as well. Have almost every year of D mints Lincoln Cents besides a few early years, and a 39D. Lots of good wheats and S mints as well, including his 1920 and two 1925 S'. I believe he was into just roll hunting and circulated searching but not sure as none are graded and all circulated. Any coin I post most likely came from my grandfathers massive 5 gallon jug of coins so most coins I find have been in his jar for who knows how long. I find a lot of really good late '70's and '80's and '90's in great shape so I'm assuming that was most of when he was filling. Some good quarters left are a 1935, 1940 and a mint 1967. Almost every year of Mercs as well which is incredible, 2 1941/2's, 1916 D. A 1922 Peace dollar as well as 1957, and two 1952 dollars. And tons of war time nickels. Buffalo nickels, 1866 Indian head. From what I can tell he was a huge fan of half dollars as well as I still haven't made way through them. I am a big fan of Lincoln Cents if you can't tell by most of my posts. I really enjoy DD's and errors and oddities. Maybe down the road I'll find myself getting into the collectibles but don't have the wallet for most of those currently. I still have so much to go through and even more to learn but hope to get pictures uploaded for you guys of some cool things he's got.
