This is a pretty good description of how to identify a 1946 S/D mint mark. The D is south of the S.

Ok, then let me rephrase my question. Because I see or I think I see the d south of the s! My real question is do you or as many ppl as possible see the d south of the s? I wanted as much feedback as possible because then I would feel comfortable sending off the be graded and verified but I'm nervous, I guess would be the word!

It actually looks very similar to the other coin in question from the prior thread. That also had a little something happening with the S, but was not a S/D by consensus.

This coin it is far from S/D. What made you think it is?

to the CCF The vertical D on 1om001 is straight vertical, yours is slanted to the northeast. This is not the over mm.
